Hotel Ruby - Suzanne Young

If you take the whimsical feeling you get when you staying an enchanting hotel, and mix it with a tragic and haunting tale, you have Hotel Ruby's story.

This was both fun and dark making it a stellar read!

Night Study - Maria V. Snyder

I missed Valek! After this installment of the Poison Study Novels, I'm going to be on pins and needles waiting for the next!!!

There were so many heart wrenching twists, turns and surprises that left me feeling unsure about the future of both Ixia and Sitia.

The countdown begins for next book. It can't come soon enough!

Endure - Sara B. Larson

Prepare for inevitable heartbreak during the final installment of the Defy trilogy.

A wild ride indeed. Had me on the edge of my seat and had me wondering if anyone would be left come the last page of the book.

If you haven't started the trilogy? Do.

Truthwitch - Susan Dennard

While it might have started a bit, slow for my tastes. Truthwitch really builds into a heart pounding ride that I ended up LOVING!!!

With a new BBF, who can ignite my witchery anytime, and a cast of colorful and refreshingly imaginative characters, this is the start of a new series that I'll be hooked on until the end!

Illuminae - Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman

A super cool, action packed, sci-fi adventure made even more fun by the amazing illustrations and the kick ass way the book reads like a file.

It was especially hilarious when on page 155, a nod was given to Laini Taylor!

Soundless - Richelle Mead

This is one cool and page turning story that sweeps you right up and holds on until the last page.

It is a stand alone, but I feel like there is so much more that this world has to offer, that I hope she changes her mind and expands.

The Bazaar of Bad Dreams: Stories - Stephen King

This wasn't my favorite collection of short stories, but it wasn't all bad.

I think UR and Obits were, to me, the best of the bunch.

It was fun reading, as any Stephen King is.

Just as powerful when told from Rhiannon's perspective.

Loved this. And now? I'd really like to see the story continue.

Queen of Shadows - Sarah J. Maas

You'd think after three books, and a book of stories, the plot would start losing steam.

No. Way.

This story gets better, and better.
